Industrial building Services (IBS) is a locally registered company with accreditation from the National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) in Malawi, renewed annually. The company has the mandate to operate in Malawi and with special arrangements internationally. It has been founded on the premise that honesty and integrity in the construction industry are often elusive but have been embraced as the core values within IBS. Based on this understanding, IBS upholds with dignity the NCIC code of ethics and performs its work with dignity.
IBS operates in all areas of construction including civil works, steel engineering, electrical works and plumbing. It has a legal mandate to partner with accredited companies through sub-contraction of various works within its directive. Since its establishment, IBS has been awarded various construction contracts ranging from Government, private sectors as well as able individuals. IBS continues to manage various project works which have included Construction of Colleges and various buildings, Road construction, fabrication and installation of different forms of steel structures namely steel towers, steel trusses, water or fuel tanks, Filling station canopies, cantilever structures, road arches, billboards, staircases, warehouses, balustrades, various steel furniture etc.
